Amos Ruins & Physkos Ancient City
mos, which is located approximately 32 km east of Orhaniye and on a small cape 4 km south of Turunç, used to be one of the prominent cities of ancient times.
With its deep blue sea and its beach, Amos is one of the stops of the daily boat tours.
On its west are some temple ruins, probably belonging to Amos’ God, Apollo, as the inscriptions suggest.
Physkos ancient city, located approximately 2 km north of Marmaris, has been declared as 1st order protected Archeological Site in 1992.
