Taşlıca & Bozukkale (Loryma Ancient Town)

 

A totally different geographical environment welcomes you at Taşlıca that is located approximately 33 km south of Orhaniye. Steep slopes covered by millions of rocks, gigantic olive trees, abandoned stone houses and goat herds…

You may come across ‘yılkı’ horses strolling around. ‘Yılkı’ is the name of the wild horses strolling freely in Anatolia today.

The ancient town ruins of Bozukkale that was named Loryma at ancient times are in quite good shape on the shrub lands where you enter the bay.
